Understanding Planes of Existence

Understanding Planes of Existence

The concept of planes of existence refers to different levels of reality, each with its own frequency, consciousness, or experience. While often rooted in spiritual traditions, these ideas also appear in metaphysics and theories of consciousness. From the physical to the energetic and divine, they offer a framework for understanding the visible and invisible layers of life.

There are many ways to understand the layers of existence beyond the physical. In the ThetaHealing® modality, reality is divided into seven vibrational planes, each with unique qualities. This differs from traditional esoteric philosophies like Theosophy or Eastern mysticism, which speak of planes like the astral, mental, and causal as levels of consciousness and soul progression.

At Meta Healing, I use the ThetaHealing® technique to teach you how to access your innate healing ability through the Seventh Plane of Existence, the source of all creation and life force energy.

It's a lot to wrap our human minds around but just being open to the concept is often enough. Here’s a simplified overview of some commonly mentioned planes:

ThetaHealing®’s Seven Planes of Existence

First Plane – Mother Earth
Realm of minerals and non-organic matter. The foundation of physical form.

Second Plane – Elementals
Organic matter, plant spirits, and elemental beings (fairies, devas).

Third Plane – Humans & Animals
The realm of physical life and free will (our current experience).

Fourth Plane – Spirit Realm
Where spirits of ancestors, guides and passed loved ones reside.

Fifth Plane – Ascended Masters
Realm of duality and spiritual testing, home to enlightened beings.

Sixth Plane – Laws of the Universe
Vibrational plane of sacred geometry, light and universal laws (karma, time).

Seventh Plane – The Creator of All That Is
Pure consciousness, source energy, oneness with all creation.
